The Captain chooses the wrong by leaving the passengers behind. He should have been the last one to get out of the boat. Plus he steered the boat to close to shore and that’s how the accident happened. He disobeyed the rules and the law by not following the company’s orders which caused the boat to sink. If you were a captain and you left a boat full with passengers while an accident is happening that decision ONLY causes you 2 years of prison.
